We are sorry that we no longer participate with United Healthcare insurance plans. We are an independent practice and as Big Healthcare continues to leverage their power, the viability of small, private practices like ours is further undermined. Ultimately, our efforts to resolve this matter with your carrier have been unsuccessful. The excessive amount of time and effort required by the plan for obtaining approvals for medications, imaging studies, and routine procedures makes it no longer possible for us to stay in your plan.
This decision was not made lightly. Countless hours on the phone with UHC representatives, hospital administrators and even discussions with NJ Legislators were unable to make a difference. We understand the impact it may have on your healthcare needs and those of your family members.
There are other insurance providers available in the market and we encourage you to explore your options and find one that best meets your needs.
